We all know Aloe is good for sunburs, and I also saw it as an ingredient for stencil fluid. (speedstick, aloe, alcohol gel)

So has anyone tried it for tattoo aftercare, insted of ointments/lotions?

Yes it is i use Aloetattoo which is made for the tattoo market , its alot thinner than bepanthen so, handy if the finished tattoo is sore and it helps a new tattoo breathe more also it will enhance your colours applying a very fine amount plus itdosent mark your clothes etc.

Wanted to update this. I decided to color in the nautical star I put on my leg. Well I did it and it turned out great, but I used aloe for the after care, and it got badly infected.

Its been over a month and the spots where the ink came out are healed but very red.

I will never try aloe again.
