I'm an apprentice at a studio here. My mentor is a great guy but a lousey teacher so I have to figure out a lot of things by myself so I joined here to increase my knowledge of the craft and become the best artist I can be

What materials are you using to practice? Machine, ink, practice skin, needles?

Lol mine takes the cake I think. Asking hil about lining stuff just gives me the answer "aah, stop fucking worrying so much" lol.

My setuo currently is an Ego Vertex 2 and a Sunskin special hybrid. Using intenze ink. I practiced on fruit and pig hide. Then got to do a tattoo on myself. Then moved on to friends who were willing to get some free shitty tattoos and now I'm taking apprentice prices
