P Machine Re Build - Help Please

Hi all,

I have just re blued my frame on a coil machine, i would like to know in which order the washers go back together

I.E rear contact post, and top post for contact screw

I dont want to try the machine out just incase i get a belt!!

why don't you look at the tuning guide, and don't worry about getting a belt, it's the shorts you need to watch out for.

From the outside to inside of the machine frame:

  1. Get your 4mm screw that you would screw your rear binding post onto.
  2. Put on to it, a steel washer, and then a plastic washer with the step so that it will slide into the machine hole.
  3. Push the screw through the frame.
  4. Now its through, thread on another plastic washer, again so the step goes into the hole. (Basically, the step stops the machine touching the actual screw, causing a short).
  5. Now thread your eye loop from your coils onto the screw.
  6. And finally screw the binding post onto the screw.
Hope this helps, and just repeat the process for the contact end.
