Darks, midtones, lights. As pointed out your missing some midtones. Drop some mid tones on those skulls and it will pop right out! Nice work though!!

The White Ink...is starbrite.."bright white" and the shading mix i used was kuro sumi outlining ink which i broke down with water.

Barry, overall good work. I'm a black/gray fan so the flesh toned skulls (=bone) lost a bit on me. I don't understand the 'darks, mid-tones and lights' comment. I assume it has something to do with giving perspective or changing it. Again, overall very nice work.
