hi all i have a rotary machine and im running on about 7.5-8 im not sure about using rubber bands as its not a coil, any advice would be great it was my first night using a machine and i think i done really well considering my first time :)

Hi pompey

From what ive learnt you still use a rubber band on a rotary machine as it cuts down wobble on the needle and also keeps the needle to the back of the tube/tip for better ink flow

The rubber band is a definate YES! What Ron said is exactly right.

As for voltage, this again is dependant on the machine, but rotary machines dont tend to like high volts. One thing is for sure, once you get you lines looking good with a rotary, remember the settings, as its a lot harder for consistant setup, due to not having the noise to go by.
