Obviously everyone tattoos their thighs but have any brave folks out there gone for a self tattoo on the stomach? Could’ve tattooed my leg for ages but after having my ribs done I’m cautious to go for there. Interested In how far people have gone beyond the upper leg

Calf and left middle finger ^_^
The calf was hard to reach and awkward sitting position, lots of breaks standing up, and walking helped a bit though.
The middle finger was easy, stretched it on the underside with the help of a clothespin
I guess tape would work as well stretchinbg other areas of the body.
Want to try and tatto my left forearm sometime as well.
Feet would be pretty easy too.

I really want to do the tops of my feet but I haven't settled on the designs.
wait. feet are tough, they hurt, and easy to blow out. Let someone else do your feet...
I want to hit my ribs just to be able to trashtalk my friends when they cant sit still, but some dreams might not be worth pursuing. Ending up with an incomplete piece would backfire hard ?
I'll definitely wait. They're intimidating for sure.

Hips, feet and ankles. Recently tried my lower abdomen. It's definitely hard to maintain a good stretch on yourself but it's also valuable practice understanding how to work in awkward positions and which way to pull the skin. I'm of the belief that I'd rather get it wrong on myself than when I'm finally tattooing someone else. Best of luck !!
Have done some on my wrist(stretching with angel and tattooing hand), out side of right calf - not the easiest angel, but I'm right handed so ? did the outline on a neo traditional bear on my left knee, little hard placement but. And my index finger and middle finger ??
That's my practice leg i think this'll be the only place other than my thigh I plan on doing myself. I literally just did that rose. It's my first attempt on skin with grey wash

I've done 3 on my thighs, and honestly they are clearly first attempts, but I also did a nice pair of swallows on my right shin. Man, colour packing on my own shin was disgusting, and the room I was in had poor lighting and was working with yellow too so some parts ended up over worked and needing refilling once it healed.

Ive done my legs, and my ribs, I let my friend tattoo my ribs and he couldn't get the ink to stay so i ended up doing most of it myself. You can tattoo your ribs and your stomach yourself, its not easy but its doable.
Left arm (outer) with plans on the inner possibly this weekend, right thigh, left inner calf. I plan on doing something pretty ambitious on my left thigh and right calf. Plan on doing another cover up on my left calf. Feel like I might need to do a few months of yoga for anymore calf stuff though. For the left arm I used high tack athletic tape to force a stretch and position to manipulate it. Seemed to work fine. May do my hand as well. Basically, if I can reach it I'm going to tattoo it. Just waiting on better machines.

Yes I’ve tattooed my stomach, my ribs my butt, my chest, my ankles, I kind of want to tattoo my own back stick n poke. For a while I was thinking it would be cool if from now on I just finish tattooing my whole body, but idk at certain points I might just have someone else do it because it will be easier and look better. Obviously it’s pretty hard to tattoo your left ribs if you’re right handed so I’m doing it in stages. The chest was pretty crazy because I had to use a mirror for the higher areas I could look down at. The butt was a pain too because I had to twist like crazy. I wouldn’t say any of these tattoos are perfect because of the amount I had to stretch to make them happen except for inner ankle that one came out pretty dead on.

not for me... but respect.
i had a friend that was over 95% ink.. he did as much as he could himself. i did his palms for him & he had some other artists over the years do other bits.
i haven't even done one on myself.
