Hey you guys,

I have to tattoo this design next weekend on somebody s wrist. Now I have my doubts about the needle I should use. Tried the design on fake skin, using a 3rl and a 5 rl. I noticed with the 5rl the lines are a little bit steadier. But I'm a little affraid that maybe a 5rl would be too big once I started in the skin, I mean on fake skin the lines are always a little different than on real skin.

Its gonna be about 5 cm long.

So what needle would u use??

If you're unsteady with a 3rl, why would you consider using it anyway? If the 5rl is better, but too big compared to the needle you SHOULD use, but are unable....maybe you should hold off and not tattoo someone's wrist just yet??

Think you have answered your own question there. Small designs like this need to be perfect with one pass. If you're even a tiny bit unsteady it will be so noticeable being so small. Stick to bigger things with more room for error. And get that hand steady 👌🏼👌🏼
