Black gloves, black machines, black furniture.

I know black looks edgy, but it makes cleaning up so much harder.

Everything should be chrome instead lol. Thats what they do in hospitals, plus medical equipment is always super easy to sterilize, meanwhile the geometry on some rotaries and every coil is just asking to harbor bacteria.

good points. one shop i was at was all white for this very reason.... plus it made for better lighting.

black gloves, in theory, hide any blood/plasma which can freak a customer out.

i agree about the geometry of some rotaries.... my centri is also textured... cleaning & sanitizing is a bitch.

stainless/chrome accessories,.... good point. if i had them i'd use them. glass is also excellent. i like the look of medical/dental accessories better than made for a tattoo studio product generally

It's funny, i has this thought before i bought my equipment.
Like how am i going to make a black machine clean, how can you see dirt on black gloves.
I always bought pink gloves and i know when they're dirty, stencil, ink and blood.
Changing them after my half-session break is like starting new.
Chrome machine, pink gloves, coloured silicon cups, red chord, green and yellow ps switch, pink water cups... And inking only in black.
I know when something needs to be cleaned !

Peace and rainbows,

I do the same as Mathieu, all my cups and covers are pink, purple or transparent.

Completely agree it's stupid with all the black.

I really don't mind black things that are covered anyway. Power supply, machines, furniture, etc.... It's all covered in plastic or barrier tape anyway. I'm not a huge fan of black gloves at all. I want to see how messy my shit is. If it's too covered in ink I have no problems changing gloves frequently to avoid making a mess. Hell, when I bought my tool chest for my station I bought the white one because it LOOKS clean. Everybody uses black or red but I'd rather have something that can show how clean it is, isn't the same as everyone else (I'm a unique guy), and also reflects more light - because we can never have enough.
